By dissolving two tablespoons of baking soda into eight ounces of water and using it as a gargle is one of the best home cures for bad breath. After you have let the baking soda dissolve take a swig of the mixture and gargle it like a mouth wash (you might have to gargle two or three times to empty the glass).
