***
To remove oil, brush cornmeal through your hair.

***

Fenugreek Seed

Pummel two tablespoons of fenugreek seeds that have been soaked for eight hours into a paste and apply to hair, washing out after about 30 minutes.

***

Put rosemary and sage tea on your scalp.

***

This works great for removing dandruff: drop an aspirin in your shampoo bottle.

***

Massage olive oil into scalp and leave on for a few minutes before washing out.

***

Tea Tree Oil Dandruff Natural Home Remedy

Mix together one teaspoon almond oil and around eight drops of tea tree oil and rub into scalp. Let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then wash your hair with shampoo twice and conditioner once and the dandruff should be gone.

***

To remove the fungus that is killing your scalp’s skin cells, use a Nizoral shampoo. It’s around $13 for a little bottle, but you only need to apply it every once in a while and it works for 10 to 30 treatments, depending on how long your hair is. With long hair, I mainly just focus on my scalp and not the complete length of my hair. At a Canadian website you might be able to get some samples and a good coupon. It might be true for the United States too, but I’m not sure. You will be happy after using. Make sure you use your favorite shampoo and conditioner for quite a while in between using this treatment only every once in a while.

Scalp conditions being imbalanced can be connected with dandruff. Lots of people have sampled shampoos that are medicated and many other natural products. Imbalanced scalp conditions might come from having a scalp that is very oily. That was the problem I had and I tried using a shampoo that helps oily hair and it worked. It wasn’t the dry scalp that was my problem, but a very oily scalp that created an imbalance. So after using shampoo made for oily hair, I don’t have anymore dandruff.

Apple Cider Vinegar Dandruff Home Remedy

I’ve been told that using a half a cup of apple cider vinegar diluted in a half a cup of water will help with your dandruff. Something else I’ve heard is to buy a shampoo that doesn’t have any fragrance in it. Also, make sure you drink eight glasses of water daily.

Make sure to examine the ingredients on your shampoo bottles and if ammonium lauryl sulfate is listed don’t use it anymore. It’s something they put in the shampoo to make it soapy. It can lead to dandruff, burning, and itchy skin. It can be difficult to locate a product without this ingredient in it, but I would try looking for something that is organic, perhaps at a health food store of some kind.

***

I deal with a very dry scalp and tons of dandruff.  I use hydrogen peroxide on my scalp and wash it off before I go to bed.

***

Coconut Oil Home Remedy for Dandruff

Heat up coconut oil and put it on your hair and scalp for two hours. Not using a shampoo containing ammonium lauryl sulfate, wash it off after two hours. One time a week use a nizral shampoo on the scalp alone. Johnson & Johnson has one. This home remedy works best for dandruff.

***

Baking Soda Natural Remedy for Dandruff

Use baking soda to kill the fungus that causes dandruff. It is a fiscal way to get rid of dandruff. Get your hair wet and pour a little baking soda on it, rub it in, and then rinse it out. Use it every day for at least a week, maybe more.  After that use once a week.  It doesn’t have a bad odor, isn’t toxic, and it gets rid of even the worst dandruff.

***

Take coconut milk and leave it on your hair for a half an hour. Rub it in softly with your fingertips.  Do it once a week. You will get amazing results!

***

To get rid of dandruff, take apple cider vinegar and wet it in your hair for five minutes before you shower. Then wash your hair like normal. In about a two weeks or less you should see a change in having dandruff. Your hair will feel better!

***

Drink around a gallon of water each day and it should help with dandruff.

***

Use Men’s Axe shampoo to help with dandruff.
