Alcohol & Vinegar

After I’ve been swimming, and I start to have problems with my ears, I have a technique I do that takes care of the problem. I take a solution of 70% isopropyl and mix this with white vinegar. I put a few drops into each ear, and then let it sit for about five minutes before draining both ears. You will feel tingling and maybe some possible mild stinging; but, it’s okay. This is from the solution affecting the bacteria in your ear and helping to get rid of the excessive water.

Sweet Oil Home Remedy

Whenever anyone in my family comes down with an ear infection, we have an old home remedy for ear infections that always seems to help. When I was a child growing up, my mom always used this remedy. She would put some sweet oil into my ear and then she’d stick some cotton inside it. I’d then lie down on the opposite side for a while. This always worked for me.

Hot Saucer Cure

As a child growing up, my mom could always take care of any ear infections we had without having to go to a doctor. She would take a saucer and heat it in some hot water. She would then wrap the saucer in a towel and apply it to the opposite ear that wasn’t hurting. She would also put some drops of warm olive oil in the troubled ear. This always provided great relief. Colloidal Silver

When you’re having problems with your ears, it’s usually associated with inflammation and fluid in your middle ear that hasn’t drained and is pressing against your ear drum. During this time, bacteria will start to grow and develop in the fluid. What you need to do is to get some colloidal silver and put some drops in the troubled ear. By doing this, you will soon relieve the pain and swelling within about an hour. You should continue this method for about five days in the morning and evening.

For the past three years I’ve had to deal with constant ear infections wit my dog. I tried many different treatments and remedies; but, nothing seemed to help. Finally, I stumbled onto an approach that actually worked! I took a glass of warm water and put in about 25 drops of GSE. GSE is an antibiotic that comes from grapefruit seeds. I put some into his ear and turned his head sideways as I massaged the fluid into his ears. This worked! I repeated this twice, and it has taken care of the problem. Hot Olive Oil

This home remedy for ear infections is quite simple. First, you take a spoon and warm it over a burner. Next, you warm a little olive oil by putting it in the spoon. Now, get a dropper and put two or three drops into your ear after the oil has cooled enough. This will really help in removing the pain.

Get a q tip and dip it in some standard isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Just soak the q tip and the carefully swab out the sensitive area in the canal of the ear. This will do wonders on the type of pain that keeps you up all night. It takes about 20 minutes for it to start to ease the pain. You can do this as much as you want and as often as you want to get the fastest relief. If you can’t find a q tip, get the alcohol into your ear some way or another. You can pour some of the alcohol into the cap of the bottle and use that to soak the q tip. Then tilt your head so the painful ear is up and squeeze the q tip so the alcohol drops in the ear.
