Fever Blister Treatments and Home Remedies

 

 

Aloe vera has wonderful healing properties that are extremely beneficial for fever blisters and should be used to treat any fever blisters are the onset of symptoms.  Simply rub the juice from the leaves of the aloe vera plant on the blisters.  This should quickly stop the blister from growing any larger and should cause it to start healing immediately.

Cornstarch is a great natural home remedy for fever blisters.  Simply apply to the blister to dry it out and help the healing process.

If you're suffering from fever blisters, then you'll love this natural remedy.  Mix either olive or aloe oil with a few drops of grapefruit seed extract.  Apply the mixture to the blister.

When you first feel like you're getting an outbreak of fever blisters, try to apply ice to the blister. Keep the ice on the blister for approximately 10 minutes every hour.  This should stop the virus from traveling to the surface and creating more blisters.  This home remedy really helps control fever blister outbreaks.

Apple cider vinegar is a wonderful and all natural remedy for fever blisters.  To gain the full benefits from apple cider vinegar, simply ingest one to two tablespoons of it along with a full glass of water every day.  Results are best when this is done on an empty stomach.  You will find that if you do this consistently, you'll have far fewer outbreaks of fever blisters.
