Gas Home Remedies & Bloating

I was experiencing trouble with excessive bloating and gas.  My mom told me about a little home remedy for gas that she got from her grandmother.  She said that you pour some hot water over one quarter teaspoon of ground cinnamon and about one half teaspoon of ground ginger as well.  Then, you let it steep for about ten minutes before drinking it.  You can strain it, if you feel the need.  Or you can add some type of sweetener to it if it’s too bitter.

For those troubles you are having with gas, use a hot water bottle or a heat pack that you can microwave and put it on your stomach.  Place it just under you ribs.  This should help with your problem.  Also, if you lie on your stomach and raise yourself up and rest on your elbows; this too can help alleviate the gas buildup.  Lastly, just sit on the toilet and trick your body into thinking that you are going to have a bowel movement.

If you are looking for a natural remedy for gas, try some Indian curry.  Get some strong and authentic Indian curry and eat it.  It has a lot of cumin that will cause you to really pass gas.  In fact, enough to power a sailboat long distance.

I was having problems with too much gas all day long.  My uncle came over and I happened to mention it to him.  He asked me if I had any hot cocoa, and if I did; to have a cup.  I went ahead and had a cup of hot cocoa, and I ended up relieving my gas by burping.  I guess that the hot liquid really makes you burp.

At my family got together last weekend, my aunt told me about a home remedy she uses for gas problems.  She said that when she was recovering from C-section, her doctor told her to sit in her rocking chair and rock back and forth to relieve the gas problems.  She swore by this as a true solution to this problem.  I don’t own a rocking chair, so I just tried sitting on my couch and made myself rock back and forth.  I couldn’t believe it!  It actually works!

To get rid of your gas problems, drink a special tea.  I’m talking about a tea that has slippery elm along with other ingredients like raspberry leaf, spearmint leaf in it.  Also, you can use lemon instead for raspberry leaf and this will also work well.  This provides a hot minty liquid to ingest and move things along in your system.  A little tip regarding the slippery elm is to make sure to use a filter because it comes in powder form.  You can just use a coffee filter to put the three ingredients in as you then soak them in hot water.  This work very well!

I have a great remedy for any of you suffering from too much gas.  Just fix yourself a nice cup of hot chamomile tea.   I was told about this last week, and I gave it a try, and sure enough; it worked!

Make sure to chew your food thoroughly or you will end up taxing your digestive system and create problems with developing gas.

Dandelion tea is a great natural remedy for treating gas.  It will be bitter, so you will need to add some honey to it.  If you are allergic to ragweed, marigold, or daisies, then you should probably avoid this remedy.  Otherwise, it’s great!

If you’re having terrible problems with bloating and severe gas pains; I have just the remedy for you.  Get a clove of garlic and crush it then add it to boiling water for about twenty minutes.   This will help with digestion and will help to release the gas.

If you are in need of a good natural home remedy for gas and bloating, you should try eating some raw parsley.  After each meal, just take a little bit of parsley.  Don’t eat more than a couple of ounces.  You can also take parsley leaves and blend them into a drink.  I’m not talking about parsley root, but, just curly or flat leaf parsley.  Parsley is a great tonic for your digestive system.  This is well known throughout the world, especially in the Mideast.
