Anorexia Home Treatments & Natural Remedies

Oranges as Home Treatment Remedy for Anorexia

If you are interested in a good home treatment for Anorexia; oranges provide a great remedy.  Oranges provide a function of stimulating the flow of digestive juices.  This will improve digestion and will help to improve your appetite.  I’d suggest eating one or two oranges a day.  You should give this a try!

Sour Grapes as Natural Home Anorexia Treatment

Sour grapes can provide a very effective treatment for those of you who have Anorexia.  You should eat wheat tortillas that have grape juice used in their preparation.  When kneading the flour add grape juice in the process.  You should consistently eat these wheat tortillas for two or three weeks.  This type of natural home treatment for Anorexia will help tone up the stomach and thus help improve your appetite.

Lime as Natural Home Treatment and Remedy for Anorexia

Lime can play an important role as a home treatment and natural remedy for Anorexia.  If you make a mixture of lime juice, ginger, and rock salt; you will see that this is very effective in improving your appetite.  Take one teaspoon of lime juice and mix this with an equal amount of ginger juice, then add one gram of rock salt.  Next, place this in the sun for three days like sun tea.  You should take a teaspoon after each meal.  This will help to tone up the digestive system and improve your appetite.

Apples for Home Treatment of Anorexia

Apples are a variety of fruit that are very helpful as a home remedy in the treating of Anorexia.  Eating apples helps to stimulate the flow of pepsin; which is a protein digesting enzyme inside the stomach walls.  Hence, I refer to an old valuable adage…’An apple a day keeps the doctor away’.  This is a great anorexia home remedy.

Garlic & Soup for Natural Anorexia Home Remedy

You should have a bowl of soup with garlic and some lemon juice a couple times daily.  This will be of great help if you’re suffering from Anorexia.  Garlic has inherent properties that help the digestive system by stimulating the digestive tone.  This improves the appetite.  In preparation, take three to four cloves of raw garlic and boil them in a cup of water. Then take one lemon and cut it in half using one half of the lemon for lemon juice.  Add the lemon juice and boiled garlic water to your soup.  I highly recommend this, and I think you’ll be surprised.  This is one of the best natural treatments for anorexia.

Ginger as Anorexia Natural Home Treatment

Ginger is a very important vegetable in using to combat Anorexia.  Take about five grams of ginger and ground it up.  Once a day lick some of this ground ginger with added salt.  This will prove to be a great treatment for this condition.

Fruit Fast as Anorexia Cure and Home Treatment

First you do a juice fast for three to five days.  Then you follow this with an all fruit diet for the next five days.  This diet will require eating three meals of fruits like: apples, grapes, oranges, pineapple, melons, peaches, and pears each day.  These meals should be eaten at five-hour intervals apart.

Cleanse as Natural Cure for Anorexia

The first step as a home remedy for treating Anorexia is to cleanse the digestive tract.  After this initial step; then a sensible diet and lifestyle is imperative.  You should start with fasting on orange juice and water for three to five days.  Each of these days, take a glass of warm water mixed with orange juice every two hours between 8a.m. and 8p.m.  You can’t add anything else to this fast or it will sabotage the process and effort.  If you have an adverse reaction to   orange juice; then, only use water or mix half and half water and carrot juice.

The only effective treatment for anorexia is a thorough cleansing of the digestive tract, and adoption of a sensible diet thereafter, along with a change in the style of living. To begin with, the patient should fast on orange juice and water for three to five days. The procedure is to take the juice of an orange in a glass of warm water, every two hours, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nothing else should be taken, as otherwise, the value of the fast will be entirely lost. If orange juice does not agree with the system, only water or half a glass of carrot juice mixed with an equal quantity of water may be taken.
