Wormwood

Wormwood is a really good herb that has been shown to be very powerful against intestinal parasites.  This treatment has been used for centuries.  Some research suggests that wormwood is best used when treating Giargia, Schistosoma mansonia, Plasmodium and Ascaris lumbricoides because of the sesquiterpene lactones that it contains.  These chemicals actually have been found to weaken the membranes of the parasites.  You can find wormwood in capsule, tea or liquid extract form.  Wormwood is also available in a pure oil form, but this should not be ingested because it is extremely toxic.

Some medical experts believe that intestinal worms can be effectively treated naturally using a few changes in your diet.  Try to avoid acidic foods like coffee and avoid processed foods and foods containing refined sugar.  You should also avoid consuming alcohol.  Anti-parasitic foods are also very beneficial.  Try to consume lots of raw garlic.  Surprisingly, pineapple is a wonderful natural food for intestinal worms.  Pineapple is rich in the digestive enzyme called bromelain, which is great for treating intestinal worms, especially tapeworms.  Papayas are also rich in enzymes that can help to digest protein and work well to break down intestinal worms.  Foods rich in vitamin A are also very beneficial for treating this illness.  Beta Carotene is a compound that is a precursor to creating Vitamin A.  You should consume foods rich in this compound to ease your intestinal worms.  Foods rich in beta carotene are squash, sweet potatoes and carrots.  Vitamin A has been found to increase the body's resistance to intestinal worms.  Try to also consume lots of probiotics.  You will also find that there are several cloves and spices like tumeric that can be used to naturally treat intestinal worms.

Lots of civilizations have practiced the use of garlic for treatment of lots of maladies including intestinal worms.  These include the Babylonians, Indians, Romans, Greeks and Chinese.  Western and many modern medical professionals recommend the use of garlic as well because they are also familiar with its healing properties.  If you don't like the taste of garlic, one of the best ways to reap the benefits is to put a clove of garlic in each shoe.  As the feet perspire, the garlic is absorbed into the body and is carried by the blood to the intestines where it can effectively naturally treat the intestinal worms.  If you like the taste of garlic, then you should try to consume three cloves of raw garlic every morning.  This is a great way to get all of the natural benefits of this super food.

Bark from the pomegranate tree (both the root and the stem) is a wonderful natural remedy for intestinal worms.  The bark contains the alkaloid punicine and the root has a higher concentration of this compound than the stem contains.  This alkaloid is extremely toxic to tapeworms, but not humans.  To properly consume the bark, simply make a cold drink from it and drink about ninety to one hundred eighty milliliters about three times daily.  The drinks should be consumed at one hour intervals.  This dosage guide is recommended for adults only.  Children should consume about thirty to sixty milliliters.  This is also a wonderful natural remedy for getting rid of tapeworms.
