Nasal Cleansing

Natural remedies for hay fever include nasal sprays, however be careful when using these products because they can actually dry your membranes out and make hay fever worse. A healthier alternative to nasal spray is using salt water. Take about one tsp of salt to one pint of water. Many people use a Nettie pot to clean their nasal passages. You can also use your hand to cup the salt water to sniff up one nostril and blow the water gently out the other side of your nose. This is a wonderful way to cleanse your nasal system while at the same time help ease the symptoms of hay fever!
