Diet to Get More Energy

If you want to maintain a good level of energy throughout your day, then the first place you should start is with your diet.  The most basic thing to start with is to eliminate foods with refined sugars.   There is nothing positive about ingesting refined sugar into your body.  It only wears down, and weakens your system.  You may feel some initial burst of energy, but it won’t last, and then you’ll feel tired.  It’s called a sugar high; but, once you come down from the sugar high, you’ll become even more tired and less alert.  The refined sugar is like an artificial “quick fix” that will end up backfiring on you.  So, avoid the refined sugars, and you’ll be surprised at how much better you feel, and where your energy level is at.

Honey

When you’re really dragging and just feel lethargic, there some things you can do to help with this.  One of the simplest ways to combat this problem is to take a daily dose of honey.  You can take honey capsules, or put honey on your toast, or in other foods.  Honey is an excellent source of attaining energy.  It’s natural, and it is has already been digested by bees; thus, it will go right into your blood stream.

Excercise

Do you need a jump start in the morning to get your energy level up?  Give your self a jump start with a jump.  Well, actually, several jumps.  Even doing five jumps in the morning will get your blood pumping and your body to wake up.  So, start the process of getting your blood flowing and your engine up and roaring by doing jumps!

More Excercise

I have one of the best and easiest home remedies for attaining energy.  In a word, exercise is the key.  I have three children and throughout the years I’ve always told people that there was no way I had time or energy to exercise.  Doing all the work involved in caring for my children; shopping, housework, cooking, running errands, and so on, left me depleted.  Oh my, was I wrong!  I’ve started going to the local gym a few days a week and I have noticed such a huge change in how I feel.  I have so much more energy now.  After I have finished working out, I feel great and have a lot more energy.  In fact, I really notice that when I don’t work out I feel real sluggish and tired.  Now, you don’t have to do like me and go to a gym.  You can do things at home just as easy.  If you can even invest just ten minutes a day of doing some type of exercise, you’ll notice a big difference in how you feel and how much energy you have.  Give this a try and see what you think!

No Fast Foods

To help maintain or even get some energy, one thing you can and should do is to avoid fast foods.  I don’t know if you’ve noticed; but, if you are like me, by mid-afternoon I’m tired from eating fast foods.

Royal Jelly & Bee Pollen

I’ll share what I do to get some energy.  It’s natural and healthy and is easy to do.  Just take some Royal Bee Jelly and add some Pollen and Propolis, and have a daily dose of this each day. You’ll be surprised at the renewed energy level you’ll attain.

Dates

One of the best home remedies for energy is natural and very healthy.  You just need to eat dates.  You will feel an instant increase in energy, and it’s not artificial.  You want to be sure to get the best quality ones.  They sell for about $22.00 a kilo Australian dollar.  The more expensive ones are of higher quality, and give a better lift in energy.  Also, I sometimes will fix a drink of lemon juice, water and some sugar.  This will provide me with a good energy boost.
